Basics for Guest Users

⚠️ IN CASE OF EMERGENCY:
FIRST AID KIT and a safety reflective vest in the left door.
A list of numbers you might need is
in the copilot's dashboard, in the black envelope, on a credit-card sized sheet.

- IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS: car registration document and
insurance are in the copilot's dashboard, inside the black envelope.
- BEFORE STARTING: check that the car looks
ok, to be sure that lights are working/tires are inflated (and that any possible existing damage
can't be attributed to you later). Check the mirrors and adjust the seat.
- LIGHTS: turn the knob on the left of the
steering wheel.
- HIGH BEAMS: push the lever on the left of
the steering wheel to switch on/off (half way for just a flash).
- WINDSHIELD WIPERS: press on top of the lever
on the right of the steering wheel to spray soaped water and activate wipers. Use up/down or push/pull to control
back or front wipers.
- RADIO and MUSIC: aux cable → press aux button. Bluetooth → phone>add> (consult the manual for details).
If you need to
delete a registered device, please avoid ours (FP3, FP4, …).
- NAVIGATION: there is a nice built-in phone holder above the radio controls that can be lifted to secure your phone.
- CHARGING your phone: USB-C and iPhone cables
are in the small compartment above the radio panel.
- DRIVING: not much to say, just follow the
rules and ride safe 🙂
Cruise control: press the “+” button to switch it on, press it again
to activate it. It gets deactivated when you brake.
- FUEL: Use gasoline (benzin E95), which is the green pump. The car will be returned to you with a full tank, so please try to return it full. This
one in Praterstern is near and open 24h and relatively
cheap.
- PARKING: in the 2nd district, except Praterstrasse and
Taborstrasse. The closer to Rueppgasse
27, the better (usually easy to find a spot there). Let us know where
it’s parked. During the weekend, the car can be parked in the other districts as well (but check the
signs!)
Insurance
Teilkasko (partial kasko).
In short:
- Basic mobility liability insurance for personal injury, property
damage, and consequent financial losses → up to 20 millions €
- Fire/Explosion
- Theft/Robbery
- Natural Hazards
- Wild and Domestic Animals
- Glass Breakage (but the first €350.00 are on us)
- Other perils (additional coverage based on the underlying contract
terms)
- Does not cover any costs if the
accident is caused by driver negligence.
